Privacy policy

Trade Ranked ("we", "us") builds Google listings and websites for contractors and service businesses. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we use your information to answer you and do the work you asked for. We don't sell it.

What we collect

• What you give us. Your name, business name, phone number, email, trade, city, and anything else you send us when you call, text, email, book a time, or fill out a form, including forms on Facebook or Instagram ads.
• Work details. If you become a client: your business info, photos you send us, and the logins you choose to share so we can set up your listing and website.
• Basic website data. Our web host keeps standard server logs (like IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

• To get back to you about your request or your free Google checkup.
• To build and run your listing and website if you hire us.
• To send you a monthly update on how your listing and site are doing (clients only).
• To keep records we need for billing and taxes.

Texts and calls

We only text you after you've contacted us first or said it's okay. Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop. Message and data rates may apply.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your information. We only share it with the services we use to run the business, and only as much as they need:

• Our web host (Hostinger), which stores our website and form messages.
• Google Workspace, which runs our email.
• Cal.com, if you book a call with us.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) or Google, if you reach us through one of their ads or forms. Their own privacy policies cover what they collect.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while we're talking or working together, and as long as we need it for billing, taxes, or legal reasons. After that, we delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you. If you live in California, you have these rights under California privacy law. We'll never treat you differently for asking. Just email or text us using the contact info below.

Kids

Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
