Google listings & websites for contractors and service businesses

I'm Marco Mora. I run my own concrete company in San Bernardino, and I build and manage the Google listings and websites for other trades.

I'm not an agency. I run crews, write bids, and answer my own phone. I started doing this because I got tired of watching good contractors lose jobs to companies doing half the work — only because those companies show up on Google and they don't.

If you're busy enough already, close this page. If your phone is quieter than your work is good, keep reading.

These are my own concrete company's numbers from one recent 30-day stretch — not a projection, and not a promise about your business. Every trade and every city is different. What I can tell you is that most businesses I look up have never had their listing set up properly at all.

What I find on most of them

The stuff quietly costing you calls

  • 01 No Google listing, or one somebody else created years ago and never verified.
  • 02 Two different phone numbers on the website. Google trusts a business less when the number doesn't match everywhere.
  • 03 A “contact us” or “book now” button going to a dead address. Those were customers trying to hire you.
  • 04 No license number anywhere on the site. People check that before they call — and in California, licensed contractors are required to show it.
  • 05 A footer that still says 2019, so customers wonder if you're even still in business.
  • 06 You work a 60-mile radius but the site never names a single city you serve.
  • 07 Six reviews, while the guy beating you has ninety and asks every customer for one.

How it works

Three steps, and the first one is free

STEP 1

The checkup

You call or email. I look up your business the way a customer would and send back one page: how you show up right now, what's broken, and the two or three things I'd fix first. Takes me about fifteen minutes. No charge, nothing to sign, and you can take that page to anybody you want.

STEP 2

The build

If you want me to do it, I build it. Listing verified, services and service areas loaded, your real job photos in, your hours and license right, one phone number everywhere. Usually live in about a week once I have your photos.

STEP 3

I keep it running

A listing you set up and forget goes stale. Every month I post to it, chase reviews, keep your info straight, and tell you what came in. You keep working. That's what the monthly covers.

What you actually get

No mystery line items

The Google listing

  • + Claimed and verified in your name, not mine
  • + Every service you offer, listed the way people search for it
  • + Service areas by city, so you show up outside your own town
  • + Your job photos, loaded and captioned
  • + License number and hours correct and matching everywhere
  • + Monthly posts and a system for asking customers for reviews

The website

  • + A page for every service, written for how customers actually search
  • + A page for every city you work in
  • + A quote form that goes straight to your phone and inbox
  • + Works right on a phone, because that's where they're looking
  • + Your license number where it belongs
  • + Spanish page available as an add-on

Pricing

Posted, so you don't sit through a sales call

Google listing
$349 to build, then
$249 / month

Built, verified and managed every month. Your first month is included in the build price.

Listing + full website
$849 to build, then
$299 / month

Everything above, plus a real website built around the cities you actually work in.

$199 one time

Added to the same site — not a second website to keep up with.

No contract. You cancel by text.
If you don't like what I built when it goes live, I refund the setup.
The listing and the site are yours and stay yours, either way.
I don't take a cut of your jobs, and I won't write you fake reviews.

Straight answers

What people ask me first

I already have a website. Do I need this?

Maybe not. Plenty of guys have a fine website and a broken listing — that's a $349 fix, not $849. The checkup tells you which one you are before you spend anything.

I paid a marketing company before and got nothing.

I hear that constantly. Usually they charged a setup fee, built something generic, and disappeared. That's why the pricing is posted, there's no contract, and you can cancel by text. If I'm not worth it in month three, leave.

Can you promise I'll rank number one?

No, and anybody who does is lying to you. Google decides that. What I control is whether your listing is complete, correct, active and reviewed — which is what Google is actually looking at.

How long until I see something?

Build is about a week. Movement on Google usually takes 30 to 90 days, and reviews speed it up more than anything else I can do.

How much work is this for me?

Send me your photos and answer a few questions at the start. After that, ask happy customers for a review. That's it.

What if I stop paying — do I lose everything?

No. The listing is verified in your name and the site is yours. You stop paying, I stop managing it. You keep what's built.

Being straight with you

Who this is and isn't for

Good fit

Licensed trades — concrete, masonry, grading, excavation, demolition, roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping. And any service business that doesn't need a contractor license at all: auto detailing and tint, towing, hauling, pressure washing, cleaning, mobile mechanics. If you do good work and people can't find you, this works.

Not a fit

If you do construction work in California without a license, I can't build you a site. State law makes it a crime to advertise construction work unlicensed, and I'm not putting your name or mine on that. Get licensed and call me — I'll help you set up right from day one.
